There’s no doubt that exposing our wee ones to different cultures from around the world develops their character, sense of curiosity, and an ability to empathize with others. But sometimes it can be hard to find the time or even the resources to bring the vast world around us into our homes and daily lives, let alone do it in a creative way that engages the kidlets and keeps them wanting more.
Thankfully we found someone to take on the challenge — with much delight and enthusiasm — of showing our kids’ young and eager minds the wonder of different cultures using musical instruments from around the world.
Mystic Drumz aims to reinvent children’s music education with an interactive and fun approach that keeps our kids engaged while learning about different cultures as well as ecological and environmental awareness. And did we mention this is achieved all while our babes are having the time of their lives?
Mystic Drumz’ school performances, birthdays, theatre and day camps all get rave revues from parents and kids alike. They have been performing shows, delivering programs, and facilitating workshops for over 15 years. With over 5,000 events, their one of a kind World Music Safari Adventure, is a true sensation in music education.
Their unique hands-on rhythm and sound programs excite, enlighten, and engage audiences from ages 3 to 17 and showcase eclectic percussion instruments gathered from around the globe. They connect geography to sounds, rhythms to science, and laughter to learning. And what we love best of all is that they will come to us (because, let’s face it, we’re busy).
And we know that however we choose to use Mystic Drumz with our budding musicians, everyone’s experience is sure to be a magical and educational adventure that will forever expand their minds and hearts.
