You and the kids can have a blast this New Year’s Eve with all the events happening around Toronto. Everything from fireworks to ice skating to theatrical performances will keep the whole family entertained as you welcome 2017!

NYE at Nathan Philips Square

Description: Head downtown to Nathan Philips Square for the biggest skating and dance party happening in the city. Fireworks and shows will be sure to keep everyone entertained till 2017.

DJ Skate Nights: A NYE Skating Jam Named Saturdays

Description: Skate by the lake at this family-friendly skating party with DJ-spun tunes. Skate and helmet rentals are available.

New Year’s Eve Fun for Families (Whitby)

Description: An evening of family fun with public skating indoors, a figure-skating show (6 pm) and hockey demonstration (7:30 pm), plus face-painting, a clown, hands-on ice-painting, balloon-twisting, and food and drinks for purchase.

First Night (Richmond Hill)

A magician, balloon twisting, indoor carnival games, life-size board games, inflatables, toddler play area, live music, and a 9 pm countdown and fireworks are some of the fun family events on in Richmond Hill this year. Noon Year’s Eve

Description: Midnight a little too late for the little ones? No problem! York Woods Library is hosting an early New Year’s party. There will be plenty of crafts and activities, plus an exciting countdown to noon! All ages are welcome.

Eat to Feed TO – The NYE Socially Good Dining Experience

Description: Indulge in a delicious dining experience, suitable for the whole family, which gives back to the community. 100% of the proceeds from the event are donated to Building Roots TO, with a menu that features fresh and organic ingredients.

Disney on Ice presents Dream Big

Christmas in the Valley at Todmorden Mills Heritage Site
