Nothing appeals to our youngsters like the call of the wild.
If that call happens to include things like dinosaurs and volcanoes, massive meteorites and fossils, we know they’ll sing along merrily (and loudly).
This winter break we’re taking our kids for a walk on the wild side where they’ll be able to explore first-hand the amazing things that live (and lived) on our planet. They will be entertained and educated at the same time (but don’t tell them that, they’ll never guess!) with dedicated kids’ activities full of fun and learning, featuring interactive activities, live displays, touchable artifacts, costumes, and digs.
At the ROM this winter break, our kidlets can do prehistoric activities and crafts, touch amazing fossils, make their own ultimate dinosaur, go on a scavenger hunt, make prehistoric headdresses, create photo mementoes of themselves as dinosaurs, meet the museum’s dino mascots…and after all of that, they can relax in the Dino Dan Lounge for a screening of the Dino Dan show and quiet activities (because frankly, we’re hoping that by then they’ll be worn out!).
Once our wild things are worn out from all the prehistoric partying we’ll take a trip to the gift shop where we’ll get something for them, and maybe a little something for us. Because we too follow the call of the wild from time to time.
