Change In All Things Is Sweet…Right?

Blogs

Hello, my name is Jennifer and I’m a bit of a sh!t disturber.

Yep, I’ll admit it here, in writing to you (but only you). I’m one of those people. You know the ones, who come in and shake things up; sometimes just for fun…and change everything you thought you knew was right with the world.

I’m really sorry. I honestly can’t help myself. I see something good, and I want to make it better. I see something great and I just want to take it apart, find out what made it so great and put it back together, only better. It’s no wonder my child loves Lego so much. Building and rebuilding things is something I’ve always loved.

When Tracie asked me to come on-board as the Editor-in-Chief at Help! We’ve Got Kids, she knew there would be some changes. I just don’t think she knew how many or how drastic they would actually be.

But enough of my apologies and meanderings, let’s talk ch-ch-ch-changes!

Our first major change is a site-wide re-organize and clean-up (I like to clean; a lot). Some categories may be changing, and new ones may be added, but I’m certain it will only help you.

Second, we’re revamping our newsletter and adding two new ones to our roster. Please, don’t miss out on a single one and be sure to sign up now (our very first national newsletter goes out on Monday, July 30!).

And last — but not least in any way imaginable — we’re adding some very interesting content to the site. From blogs to expert articles to editorial content, we’re going to be busting at the seams with information for you and your kids. We’ll cover everything from the science behind getting kids to eat their vegetables to our favourite places to shop for kids’ shoes to articles on homework and water safety.

There you go. I’m flipping everything upside down and hoping that things land in the right place. I really hope you enjoy the changes and additions (and tell your friends about them!) And if you want to let me know what you think, please get in touch. I’m not one to shy away from praise or constructive criticism!
