Looking for a way to blow off some steam? At indoor playgrounds, kids can climb, jump, and slide the day away. East End Toronto parents have seven options close to home, some more suitable for younger kids and some with diversions for all ages.
Browse our indoor playgrounds directory for more options nearby or elsewhere in the GTA or check out some great West End Toronto indoor playgrounds.
The centres here all have drop-in play, but hours may be limited to certain days or times of day. Indoor playgrounds are understandably popular for kids’ birthday parties, so be aware that they may be closed at unexpected times. It’s always a good idea to call ahead.

When it’s too unpleasant to play outside, indoor playgrounds provide a fun way for kids to stay active inside. Some have play spaces for babies and toddlers—others are exclusively for kids within certain age ranges, and nearly all are suitable for kids ages 4–9. The lists below have been compiled by our sister site, Help We ve Got Kids, and include indoor playgrounds with scheduled drop-in play, but you can usually get a membership for repeat visits that will save you some money. Some indoor playgrounds are closed on weekends (usually for birthday parties) so be sure to read the fine print.
I was supposed to have a 10 kids party at Planet Fun this Saturday July 20th, 2019, and when I arrived to the place at the time my party was set up: BIG SURPRISE: The place is CLOSED. Even tough, I booked and paid for my party room just two months ago. I have not received any notification that my party was cancelled until my guests and I (with all decoration and food) arrived to this place. I am still in shocked after this happened. I have no idea what is going on? I have been trying to call several times and nothing. Why I do not have an explanation yet about this? Not to mention, that my kid and all his friends haven’t been able to recovered from the fact that they have been waiting months for his birthday and play with his friends in this park. I expect obviously my MONEY BACK plus indemnification for all the loss and damages this caused me, my family and my guests. Where are these people?
That is awful! So sorry this happened to you. Thank you for alerting us to this. We’ve removed Planet Fun from the article.
How do you go from Carlaw to Milner and miss Just For Fun which has the most variety to suit the biggest range in ages??? (And in my opinion is the cleanest)
Thanks, Craig. We’ll be sure to check it out and update accordingly. We appreciate the tip!
