COVID-19 Update: Many Toronto and Peel Region facilities are closed through December 20 due to provincial regulations, which may affect winter break camp scheduling.


Are you looking for a solution to having your kids home during the winter break? There are lots of great day camp options available—but the time to book is now as spaces are limited and will fill up quickly.

If you’re located in North Toronto, your kids can take up the sport of badminton, put their brains and imaginations into high gear with STEM camp or they can take their hockey skills to the next level.

Here are the winter break camps happening in Midtown and North Toronto for the 2020-2021 winter school break.

Midtown

Code Ninjas Leaside

Do you have Among Us fans in your house? During winter break, your child can participate with other campers to build their own game in Python and have fun playing Among Us and sharing strategies.

Dec. 28–30

Evergreen Brick Works

The Evergreen Adventure Winter Camp is all about exploring the winter forest and ravines in Toronto’s Don Valley. Kids will get a chance to adventure through the snow-covered valley, track animals, learn survival skills, and play in the snow. For kids ages 6 to 12.

December 21–24 and 28–31
Registration is per-day; half-day Dec. 21–24, full-day Dec. 28–31

North Toronto

E-Badminton Holiday Camp 

For kids ages 6 to 15, E-Badminton is offering a full-day and half-day recreational camp where kids from beginner to advanced can learn and practice badminton. Physical distancing measures and mask protocols are in place. Kids must bring their own badminton racket and shoes.

December 21–24 and/or 28–31

Snapology North York

With a few single day camp options as well as full 4-day week options, Snapology North York has a variety of winter break camp choices to choose from. Kids can take part in Santa’s Creator Club, where they will learn about robotics and have holiday-related fun all day. There is also a full week of Santa’s Creator Club available. The second full week camp, Pokéman + Amusement Park kids will get to explore the Pokéman world and become engineers of their own amusement park rides and will learn the core physics and engineering concepts used to make a ride thrilling

Canadian Pro Hockey Clinic

Hockey lovers from ages 6 to 12 will be able to brush up on their power skating and hockey skills in this full or half-day camp. Players will work on stride development, stopping and starting, crossovers, speed and acceleration and much more as well as puckhandling, passing and shooting skills.

CLAP Art Studio

Design and build your own winter chalet, make wearable art, construct detective gadgets, create artwork with invisible ink, and more at these unique, hands-on art, design, and STEAM winter break camps near Yonge and Eglinton. There are options for ages 2 to 15.

December 14–18, 21–23, 28–30 and/or January 4–8
3-day and 5-day camps; full-day and half-day

North York

Elite Camps

For kids ages 7 to 17, Elite Camps offer a range of 2-day camps designed to help kids improv their basketball skills. There is a wide variety of camps covering everything from shooting to ball handling.

December 21–27 and/or December 28– January 3
2-day camps; full-day and half-day

TAC Sports

Kids ages 4 10 12 can take part in one of four day camps happening at the Toronto Soccerplex and La Liga locations. There are adventure, soccer, dance and gymnastics, basketball, and computer coding camps available.
