It’s great doing things together as a family, but every so often parents need to have some time to themselves, to reconnect, run errands, or just relax without kids. The GTA offers a number of parents’ nights out where you can drop your kid off to have their own exciting night out filled with fun and activities. It’s a guiltless way to enjoy some rare free time!
Hooray for Play wants to give parents a break, too, so once or twice a month on a weekend evening they offer a Parents’ Night Out. Kids get three hours of supervised play on Hooray for Play’s two-story play structure with slides and snacks and juice during this event.

The three-hour-long Kids Night Out at Just Bounce includes an hour of instructed trampoline by their experienced coaches. Kids also get to watch a child-appropriate movie and indulge in pizza and snacks at this monthly or bi-monthly event.

Kids get to enjoy a themed evening at Kidz360 in the Junction that includes a pizza dinner while the adults relax on their Date Night for parents. Physical activities are combined with pop culture programs in these monthly, 2½-hour Friday events. Snacks and drinks are also included.

Spartan Gymnastics’ monthly Parents’ Night Out is full of fun, with games and prizes, and open gym, pizza and drinks, finishing off with a movie. And kids can bring their pajamas to finish the night in.

This spa for ages 5 and up offers age-appropriate treatments that are all about affirming a tween girl’s positive spirit. Drop-off night PJ parties have seasonal themes. Leading up to the holidays, for example, there’s Glam Jam, with a “DIY glam lab” station, pizza, a movie, hot chocolate and cookies, and the chance to make new friends.
