Royal Academy Of Dance

The Royal Academy of Dance is one of the world’s most influential dance education organizations. Their exams set standards in classical ballet worldwide, and they also offer teacher training.

SunDance is the only Royal Academy of Dance summer program in the world. This summer dance intensive is offered in association with the Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre. Designed for dancers age 8 to 19, this three-week summer program in Toronto offers world-class instruction from leading dance artists from across the globe.

All applicants are required to audition, in person or by video, for consideration to attend. Accepted students must enrol in the full three-week program. There are three levels (elementary, intermediate and advanced) based on level of experience. (S minimum of one year of dance instruction and/or grade 2 RAD is required for elementary.)
