Seventh Generation Midwives Toronto

Seventh Generation Midwives Toronto (SGMT) is a group of midwives who provide primary maternity care to women and their families from the City of Toronto, particularly those from the downtown area, and from the Aboriginal community. They have both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal midwives in their group.

They provide care throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the first 6 weeks postpartum,  taking into account the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical experiences of the woman during her childbearing year.

They have privileges at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and the Toronto Birth Centre.
