An annual Christmas tradition in Toronto, the Holiday Fair in the Square, at Nathan Phillips Square for three full weeks in December, is a Christmas market and winter carnival all rolled into one!
Visit with Santa, enjoy carnival rides and games, see live performances, do some Christmas shopping at the Artisan Village, indulge in some seasonal treats, and cozy up by the Fireside Lounge with some tasty hot chocolate. And while you’re here, you can skate with your kids at one of Toronto’s most picturesque rinks.
Scheduled entertainment for 2018 includes Salva’s Snow Show featuring a troupe of clowns, Bex in Motion hula hoop and acrobatics show, the Candy Cane man with juggling and plate-spinning, plus magicians, stilt-walkers, choirs, jazz bands, and even Silver Elvis. See the full schedule to plan your visit.
Admission to the fair is free, but rides, games, food, and Christmas market shopping are not. The Holiday Fair in the Square will run December 1–23, 2018, and will be open Tuesday–Thursday 4–9 pm, Friday–Sunday noon–10 pm (closing at 6 pm on December 23).
