Aquatarium at Tall Ships Landing

This 33,000+ square foot climate-controlled aquarium and discovery centre on the shores of the St. Lawrence River is a unique place to spend a day or host your child’s birthday party. Interactive exhibits and attractions include a saltwater touch tank Boston Whaler boat simulator, and a water lab. You’ll also see many species of fish and animals, such as otters, that are native to the St. Lawrence River.

If you’re looking for a challenge, the Ropes Course  lets you climb through the rigging of a tall ship. The High Ropes Course is a 9 element obstacle adventure suspended a minimum of 12 feet above their third floor. Trained staff will help you traverse each obstacle. The truly fearless can walk the plank and experience a controlled freefall with the AquaDrop, which is attached to a free fall device that uses eddy current magnetic braking technology.

Summer camp is also available for children aged 6 to 12. Different themes include mad scientist in training, curious critters and soaring into space.
