Felix’s Swim School

For over 30 years, Felix’s Swim Schools has created and implemented a unique style of teaching for students of all ages (from 8 months to adults) based on three guiding principles: water safety, progressive learning, and an individualized approach to instructing.

All of Felix’s Swim Schools class ratios are 3:1 (or 4:1 for swimming lessons in the Toronto Downtown locations). This allows for a focused, individualized approach to instruction. Private lessons are also available.

There are 7 pool locations: Thornhill, North York, Woodbridge, Markham, Downtown Central, Downtown Beaches and Downtown Junction.

Red Cross Swim Programs

A year-round approach to swimming is encouraged at Felix’s Swim School. Swimmers of any age (from 8 months to adult) and any level of ability can enter the program and find an appropriate class at any time of the year. Lessons are taught using a basic progression technique, with skills being broken down into simple, small steps and introduced with an element of skill and fun.

Swim Team / Swim Patrol

This program, designed for swimmers who have completed at least 10 levels of swim instruction, introduces swimmers to the elements of competition. It teaches competitive strokes, turns, racing starts and strategies.

The Swim Patrol programs is offered In conjunction with the Swim Team. It prepares swimmers for advanced courses, like Bronze Medallion and Cross.

Lifeguard and Instructor Training

For advanced swimmers 13 years and up, Felix’s Swim Schools offer courses for Bronze Medallion, CPR, Bronze Cross and Water Safety Instructor.

Birthday Parties

Book your child’s birthday party at Felix’s Swim Schools. Parties include swim time in the fully supervised heated pools. After swimming, the kids can continue celebrating in the private party area.
