Great Moose Adventures

Great Moose Adventures (GMA) is an outdoor education centre located in Muskoka, Ontario. GMA offers a variety of educational programs focusing on creativity, outdoor exploration, adventure  and individualized learning.

The Great Moose Adventure Centre (GMAC) in Muskoka, Ontario, is surrounded by 96 acres of wilderness, 30 acres of conservation wetlands, 100 acres of adjoining Crown Land and the  calm Kashe River.

Programming includes:

• GMA Academy: a full-time, primary school program (JK – Grade 8)
• Nature Preschool: early years forest education  for children 2-5
• wilderness canoe tripping
• cross country skiing, snow shoeing and winter camping
• summer day camps
• Voyageur overnight camps
• LIT, CIT and Junior guiding leadership camps and work experience opportunities
• outdoor education for Ontario school groups directly linked to the Ontario Curriculum
• organic garden and home-made meals
• Red Cross first aid training
