The Artful Child

The Artful Child offers a stimulating, comfortable and nurturing environment where toddlers and children can feel secure to explore a variety of artistic mediums, materials, costumes, instruments, books and toys. Programs include preschool, toddler art drop-in, Art after School and Summer Messy Mornings Camp. They can also host your child’s art birthday party.

Preschool

They offer a preschool, where children choose among art activities, such as gluing, water-play, the dough table, print-making, easel painting and the block area. Staff will guide them if they are having difficulty. Circle time includes a healthy snack. They sing, jump, dance, play instruments and perhaps use props that the children have made, such as masks or wings.

Birthday Parties

Celebrate your child’s birthday at The Artful Child with painting, drawing, gluing, songs, and dance. You can discuss the party theme, such as jungle or underwater, at the time of booking. Invitations are included and art-based loot bags are available at an additional cost. You must supply the birthday cake and any other fun treats.
