About Gibson House Museum
The 1851 homestead and farm of David Gibson, a Scottish immigrant and land surveyor who helped to map early Toronto, gives visitors a glimpse into 19th-century life in what is now North York. The museum features a heritage garden, an apple orchard, public art exhibit, and historic rooms filled with artifacts.
Frequent events and children’s programs are scheduled at the house including a regular Scottish tea inside the historic home.
Gibson House Camps
Inexpensive day camps for kids and teens, ages 4–17, are available in summer, winter, during March break, and on PA days. Campers bake Victorian inspired recipes in the historic kitchen, make crafts, tend the kitchen garden, and more.
