Rooks to Cooks
We adore the variety of topics covered in these new summer cooking camps. From tots with pots to Master Chef Jr, there’s a fun week in store for a bunch of ages. Basic chef skills and an in-depth dive into baking round out the offerings.

Nike Tennis Camps Havergal College
There’s a whole lot of great tennis instruction happening every day at these fabulous tennis camps. That’s rounded out with multi-sport programming for a ton of fun. Add the free T-shirt and pizza lunches, and you have a happy mini Milos Raonic.

Toronto Circus Centre
What an outlet for our kids’ natural tendencies to twirl, climb, swing and generally perform. This circus camp offers aerial trapeze, hoop, rope, and silks—not to mention juggling, floor and partner acrobatics, and clowning. It all culminates in an end-of-week show for the parents. Cirque du Soleil, here we come!

SMART Camp
We love this three-in-one camp concept: a little bit of a math, a little bit of sports, and a little bit of crafts. That means the campers learn age-appropriate math combined with fun games and movement in a mini-Olympics style approach. Toronto Athletic Camps
There’s a great camp experience for all ages at TAC summer camps, where everything from biking to adventure camp is on offer. Youngers campers (age 3½–5) are treated to a multi-sport mix of fun. Campers aged 6–12 can either choose two sports (one in the a.m. and one in the p.m.) or focus on one sport for the week. The teens learn how to be leaders and great role models with the LIT program.

The Chef Upstairs
Let those kids into the kitchen! If the reality show Chopped Junior is any indication, there’s an inner chef inside of every kid waiting to be unleashed. The Chef Upstairs is a gorgeous facility where the kids will learn how to make healthy breakfasts and internationally flavoured lunches. Every Thursday is Picnic in the Park, and there’s lots of other outdoor play.

Ontario Science Centre
It’s one of our favourite places to take the kids in the city, so why not let the children have a whole week there with an amazing summer day camp? There will be a whole lot of age-appropriate science taking place, from learning how insulin works to creating an original prototype. There’s also a ton of fun Canadian content, from maple syrup to glaciers and more. It’s all about investigating, innovating and inventing.

Toronto Hapkido Academy
The kids can get their martial arts fix at this awesome camp, even if they are beginners. All that cool kata practice is rounded out by plenty of educational outings, arts and crafts, and everyone’s favourite camp games.

Gibson House Museum
The campers will have a blast taking a step back in time with historical camps with great themes and settings, from toy making, baking, craftsmanship, and design. Older campers will go behind the scenes to learn how the museum works to portray the stories and skills of yesteryear.
