CLAP Micro Academy

Located in Midtown Toronto, CLAP (Create, Learn and Play) Micro Academy is a private school designed for children ages 4 to 12. CLAP Micro Academy encourages exploration through non-instructional based learning. The academy’s project-based learning style and integrated curriculum instill a big-picture approach to problem solving and achieving success.

At CLAP Micro Academy, class sizes are kept small (no more than 10 students per teacher) to allow teachers more time per student. Classes are comprised of mixed age groups in a non-traditional class setting where students are free to roam and explore the space. Individual learning plans are developed with each student, incorporating weekly goal setting and reviews of their progress, so students can learn at their own pace. This encourages students to commit and take ownership of their educational journey, while building their self-confidence.
