Japanese School of Toronto Shokokai

The Japanese School of Toronto Shokokai was established in 1973 by the Toronto Japanese Chamber of Commerce as a supplementary school. It provides Saturday classes 40 weeks a year, corresponding to the Japanese academic year, to approximately 590 elementary and high school students.

Students study the Japanese language through language, social studies, mathematics, science and life sciences textbooks. Approximately 590 students from various Ontario regions attend school.
