Avalon Children’s Montessori School – Elementary Program

Avalon Children’s Montessori School is a small, independent, co-educational school that supports the Montessori philosophy of education. Their goal is to create a nurturing environment in which children can develop intellectually, socially, morally, artistically and physically.

They have two locations. The Elementary Program on Queen Street provides programming for children in junior kindergarten through grade 8, while the Casa Program on Wood Glen Road provides programming for younger children, from 2-1/2 to 6 years of age.

Summer Camp

The Queen Street location also offers a co-educational day camp for children 5 to 8 years of age. Camp activities include crafts, games, movies, co-operative activities and outside play.
