Howlett Academy

Howlett Academy is a co-educational school for junior kindergarten to grade eight. Class sizes are small, with a student to staff ratio of less than 6:1. The curriculum is based on a mastery approach: children are taught individually, in small groups and as an entire class to achieve mastery of fundamental concepts. Once they are proficient in these, new and more challenging material is introduced.

Students also participate in various excursions. The school is within walking distance of the Royal Ontario Museum, the Gardiner Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and the Royal Conservatory of Music. They offer a range of athletics opportunities, including in soccer, cross-country and basketball, as well as a variety of clubs, such as in coding, science, art and ukulele.
