Looking to book a March break camp on the west end in Toronto? Your kids will be spoiled for choice in 2020 with options like vet camp, musical theatre camp, and Dungeons & Dragons camp!

All camps run March 16–20, 2020, except where noted. Some offer half-day options, and before- and after care is usually available for an additional fee.

Action Potential Lab

DAVENPORT/WYCHWOOD

Why choose between science and art? At this science and art lab, kids can do both. The camp schedule is not set at this writing, but popular activities at the lab include making volcanoes, building light-up insects using circuits, concoting potions, and making slime.

Basecamp Climbing

CHRISTIE PITS

Basecamp Climbing’s March break day camp is packed with climbing games, lessons, crafts, and outdoor activities. Beginners are welcome.

Creative Children’s Dance Centre

STOCKYARDS/CORSO ITALIA

Musical Theatre Madness camp culminates in an end-of-week, in-house performance. Campers take classes in jazz, tap, musical theatre, plus work with a vocal coach and play theatre games. Groups are ages 4–7 and 8–12.

The Maker Bean

BLOORCOURT VILLAGE

At this maker café, kids get creative using laser cutters, 3D printers, and more. Each day focuses on either Minecraft or robotics, with themed, hands-on building and creating. Outdoor playtime at Dufferin Grove Park is incorporated, weather-permitting. No camp on Friday, March 20.

Miles Nadal JCC

THE ANNEX

Multi-activity March break camps at the JCC include swimming, sports, arts and crafts, cooking, and more. The large fitness and community centre, at Bloor and Spadina, has a saltwater pool.

Pawsitively Pets

SWANSEA

All camps at Pawsitively Pets include hands-on interactions with animals. Little Lambs camp (ages 4–5) focuses on learning about different animals. Animal Doctors (ages 6–8) teaches campers animal health and care. Vet Explorers (ages 9–11) teaches the basics of veterinary medicine. Sign up for two to five days of camp; half-days available.

Magical thinking is encouraged at Dungeons & Dragons March Break Camp! Kids draw on their powers of imagination to explore labyrinths and battle monsters in this popular role-playing game. All ages play together at this collaborative camp.
