Wondering where to pick your own pumpkins in the Toronto area? The GTA has many farms with pumpkin patches to choose from—some are designed for old-school pumpkin picking, but many are full-fledged fall fun farms, where kids can get lost in corn mazes, go on hay rides, devour pumpkin pie and apple cider, visit with farm animals, jump around in bouncy houses, take wagon rides, and much more.
Note that admission applies at some locations; others are strictly pay-for-what-you-pick. The hours listed here are for the fall season only; dates vary.
With COVID-19, each farm and orchard has their own protocols in place. Remember to bring a mask, practice social distancing, and keep hand sanitizer with you for quick hand washing. Also be sure to call ahead for details—some places require prebooking.
