Are you looking for a solution to having your kids home during the winter break? There are lots of great day camp options available—but the time to book is now as spaces are limited and will fill up quickly.
If you’re located in the Durham region, your kids can learn the ins and outs of baseball, spend the week riding horses, hit the slopes or even learn how to master the cartwheel.
Here are the winter break camps happening in Durham for the 2020-2021 winter school break.
Earthbound Kids
Offering both single day and six-day camp options, Earthbound Kids has fun programming no matter the weather! Their Saddle Club program is for kids 6 to 12 and gives kids a chance to learn to ride and care for horses. Their Treetop program is for kids 4 to 12 and lets kids learn about horses while also engaging in sports, arts & crafts & more.

Kalsamrit Martial Arts
Kids can work on their martial arts skills while also participating in other games, activities, and crafts at Kalsamrit Martial Arts’ winter day camp. (Note: registration for 2020 session starts November 25.)

AIM Gymnastics
With camps running at both their Ajax and Pickering locations, AIM Gymnastics is ready to provide kids with a day full of fun! From vaults and bars to balance beam and trampoline, campers aged 4 to 15 get a chance to try out everything the gym has to offer.

Butler Baseball Academy
Campers will get the chance to learn baseball fundamentals from the elite coaches at Butler Baseball Academy. The name of the game ifs fun… and baseball of course!

Ski Lakeridge
Hit the slopes for the winter break at Ski Lakeridge. Kids will get 2 hours of instruction per day and the cost of rentals is included. All activities are weather permitting, so if the snow is not cooperating kids will participate in a variety of other activities.

City of Clarington
The city of Clarington is offering two different 1-day camps over the winter break. On December 29 and 30, kids aged 4 to 5 can participate in the Frosty Adventure Kinder Camp. And on December 29, 6 to 12-year-olds can enjoy a half-day full of sports, games, art & crafts, and even skating at the Deep Freeze Winter Break Camp.
