Laurier House National Historic Site

Laurier House offers a unique window into the private lives of two of Canada’s most influential historical figures – former Prime Ministers Sir Wilfrid Laurier and William Lyon Mackenzie King. Guided and self-guided tours bring the fabulous collection of objects and priceless artwork to life as you learn about how these leaders conducted their private lives and even occasionally the affairs of state from within this historic home. Among the thousands of personal items and works of art, is the crystal ball that the famously eccentric King reputedly used to communicate with his deceased mother during séances.
