Wide Open School

Online videos, interactive games, lessons, DIY activities, virtual field trips,  and more. Many subject areas are covered. All resources are free.

Wide Open School is a free collection of online learning experiences for kids in preschool through Grade 12.

Children can learn about a wide variety of subjects including math, reading, writing, life skills, social studies, STEM and more through fun and interactive videos, games, and apps.

Wide Open School was developed in spring 2020 by a group of more than 25 organizations including Scholastic, Noggin, Sesame Workshop, Khan Academy, GoNoodle, PBS, and National Geographic.

The hundreds of online learning experiences for kids were curated by the editors at Common Sense.
