The Dance Centre – Hamilton

Offering classes in ballet, jazz and tap in Hamilton. Children start with ballet at ages 3–5, and jazz and/or tap may be introduced beginning at age 6. All dance styles progress from beginner through advanced. (For ballet, RAD through Advanced 2.)

Some modern and contemporary classes are offered as well. Adult dance classes are available.

The Dance Centre places an emphasis on a solid foundation of technical training. Students are prepared for dance exams, auditions at post-secondary dance academies, and musical theatre auditions.

Students do not need expensive costumes and do not take place in competitions. There is an annual end-of-season student recital at Theatre Aquarius in Hamilton.
