Turtles around the world are threatened with extinction, but they are also some of the most honoured and celebrated creatures on earth. Join the Adopt-A-Pond Wetland Conservation Programme to learn how conservationists are helping to save turtles globally and how you can protect these amazing animals here in Ontario.
Explore the pavilions to discover a diversity of turtle species from all corners of the planet and learn to identify all eight of Ontario’s turtles to win a special prize! At the Americas Wetlands, you will come face to face with a giant turtle mascot, inflatable replicas of Canadian species, a turtle bouncy castle (complimentary access with your $2 donation for a Turtle Wrist Band), face painters and more!
