THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE

C.S. Lewis’ classic fantasy novel The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe has been enchanting children for several generations since its first appearance in 1950. This year, the Stratford Festival brings the famous story of Narnia and its inhabitants to life at the Avon Theatre, adapted for the stage by Adrian Mitchell and directed by Tim Carroll.

Starring Sara Farb, Ruby Joy, André Morin and Gareth Potter, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe follows the adventures of the Pevensie children, who discover a magical closet that leads to the land of Narnia at a professor’s countryside house. There, they meet Aslan, a talking lion, and the White Witch, the evil queen of the land.
