A veteran of four space flights, Scott Kelly commanded the International Space Station (ISS) on three expeditions and was a member of the yearlong mission to the ISS. He is also a former military fighter pilot and test pilot, an engineer, and a retired U.S. Navy captain.

In this, the third in a four-part, thought-provoking speaker series featuring leading global experts in science and technology, Kelly discusses whether man can really live beyond Earth’s orbit, the extreme challenges of of a long-term spaceflight on the body and psyche, whether a space gene exists, and if Mars holds the key to life in space.

A speaker presentation is followed by a one-on-one conversation with Kelly and a moderator, then a Q&A session with the audience. Kelly’s memoir, Endurance: A Year in Space, a Lifetime of Discovery, will be available for purchase and signing. Tickets are $20, which includes access to Inventorium hands-on learning space. Parking is $5.
