Kids ages 6–12 can register to take part in a unique election-themed, model city-building workshop from Small Print Toronto, East End Arts, and The Children’s Book Bank. Participants imagine the city they’d like to live in and construct city buildings out of recycled materials and craft supplies. They also take part in a mock voting exercise, complete with discussions about urban priorities in their mini-city, and in reporting on the election for their city’s newspaper, The Mouse City Times.
