Learn the fundamental moves of breaking, like top rocking and floor rocking, at this weeklong camp for boys and girls ages 7–13. Offered by the Hip Hop Cultural Centre and taught by Freddy “Freeze” Lopez – one of Toronto’s original BBoys of the 1980s and a popular TDSB instructor – the camp is designed to engage, inspire, inform, and empower. Incorporates breaking with DJing, MCing, graffiti, and education in hip-hop culture. Campers receive one-on-one attention with experienced instructors and guest instructors, including well-known Toronto DJs, MCs, and graffiti artists.
Camp is $275/week. Before/after care available at $25/day (8:00 am – 6:00 pm). Register online.
