From atoms to a planet, discover the building blocks of a solar system in this full-day workshop with ROM’s Ana Cernok and Lee White. Find out what makes up the various planets, asteroids and moons in our solar system, and learn how to identify basic types of meteorites as you explore ROM collections and galleries. Your day will include a virtual microscope experience with Apollo samples, and hands-on learning with the minerals that make up these important scientific specimens.
