March Break Farewell to Giant Pandas

Event Details

This event finished on 18 March 2018

March Break is your last chance to say goodbye to Da Mao, Er Shun, Jia Panpan, and Jia Yueyue before Canada’s only four giant pandas end their five years at the Toronto Zoo and make their move to the Calgary Zoo. Don’t miss this chance to see them one more time before their exhibit officially closes to the public on Sunday, March 18, at 6:00 pm.

During March break the Zoo’s Visitor Fun Team will be on site in their green Zoo jackets with lots of fun stuff to share. Visitors can see the new Greater One-Horned Rhino calf with mom, Ashakiran from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm daily in the Greater One-Horned Rhino House, meet the new Aldabra tortoises in the African Rainforest, where they share a home with our ring-tailed lemur family, or check out the new Asian Carp exhibit. Guests can view the new state-of-the-art Wildlife Health Centre, open 10am to 4pm daily, or take in a greenhouse tour (first time ever!) from 12:00 – 2:00 pm daily. Of course Keeper Talks are ongoing, where you can learn more about the wonderful animals straight from the experts, plus the Zoo is holding a series of special Enrichment Activities throughout the week.
