Bat House Building Workshop

Event Details

Have you ever wondered where bats live? Would you like to make a home for them in your own backyard? At this special workshop, the Toronto Zoo’s Native Bat Conservation Team will be on hand to help participants assemble their very own bat house. They will also provide information about bats, answer questions, and give guidance on how you can install your bat house at home. Plus, a special outreach animal visitor will make an appearance. Two sessions are available, each one hour long choose from 10:00 am or 1:00 pm.

Bat houses provide homes for bats and can be used by several of the eight Ontario bat species. This is a fun opportunity to help them out and learn more about their conservation and bring that learning back home!

COST*: $20 Member, $30 Non-Member. Space is limited. Register online.

*NOTE: *Cost is per bat house kit, not per person, and does not include admission to the Zoo. Program is recommended for ages 5 and up, and children must be accompanied by an adult (one per child).
