Paddle the Rouge

Event Details

The 5th Annual Paddle the Rouge event takes place June 16th, with free learn to paddle sessions (for ages 5-18) in the morning and boat rentals in the afternoon for the open paddle. Or, bring your own canoe or kayak and join in the fun!

Rouge Park is home to over 1700 species of birds, fish, mammals, insects, reptiles, amphibians, and plants, including 23 species at risk. The Rouge Valley also contains one of Ontario’s best remaining examples of Carolinian Forest and the last intact watershed in the area. Did you know that 20% of Canada’s population lives within one hour of the Rouge Valley? Paddle the Rouge connects youth to nature and builds the next generation of stewards for Canada’s wilderness.
