Online Classes
Maker Kids has online classes and camps in its virtual classroom. Choose from coding, Minecraft, robotics, and Mini Makers (a mix of everything). You can also book virtual birthday parties for up to 30 kids, with instructor-led robotics, Minecraft, or coding activities.
About MakerKids – Leaside
Kids have fun and learn technical skills for the 21st century at MakerKids classes and camps in coding, robotics, and Minecraft.
Weekly after-school programs and camps (summer, March break, PA days) are available for kids in Grades 1–8. Coding, robotics, and Minecraft birthday parties are available, too.
MakerKids is a Canadian-based tech education company and maker space for kids. The Leaside location is its first franchise (joining the original Bloor West Village location) and opened in 2019 with three maker rooms.

We have been a Maker Kids Family for about Two Years now. We started with PD day camps, then week-long summer camp sessions and finally weekly incubator classes which we think to be sensational as they rotate between Coding/Robotics and Minecraft. Our Son did in person classes prior to Covid – and each week was a joy – he was so enthusiastic on pick up and couldn’t wait to share what he had learned. He looked forward to his classes each week. Our Son is 9 and has become so very confident about his skills as a result of Makers Kids, it’s really a joy to see. The instructors that we have worked with are always engaging and positive. They encourage the children to try, fail , figure out how to do better next time and repeat until you succeed. It’s a great message. We were not sure we wanted to continue with on line classes during covid but our son begged us and we said okay. It has been a blessing. He has a community, friends and continues to be a source of joy for him through this difficult time. Thank You Maker Kids!
