Enjoy selections from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Suite, a holiday favourite, played on the beautiful Spadina grand piano. Following the concert, enjoy a tour of the seasonally-decorated house and participate in the Nutcracker Ballet-themed activities including a scavenger hunt, take-home crafts, and enjoy 1940s-era ballet costumes on loan from Dance Collection Danse.
This event is part of Toronto History Museums’ Holiday programming. Spadina Museum is one of 10 Toronto History Museums which explore where Toronto’s many pasts presents and futures meet. It offers a glimpse of Toronto during the 1900-1930 period through the lens of the Austin family.
Performances at 1 pm and 3 pm.
