Clapboard Kids Film Workshops

Clapboard Kids is a unique hands-on filmmaking program that teaches students professional filmmaking skills. Taught by an award-winning filmmaker, their goal is to inspire and guide the next generation of digital storytellers and filmmakers!

Since 2011, Clapboard Kids has been teaching filmmaking workshops to kids, ages 5 years and up at a range of public and private schools, camps and community centres in the Toronto area. They also offer a fantastic summer filmmaking camp, as well as tailor-made workshops for birthday celebrations and special events.

During the session, a range of filmmaking techniques can be explored, such as stop motion animation, cartooning, claymation, basic special effects, and live action shooting in a wide range of film genres.  If you prefer to focus on a specific filmmaking technique or topic to tie-in with your curriculum for a session, just let them know!
