Family Day Weekend at the Ontario Science Centre

Unleash your curiosity at the intersection of art and science as the Ontario Science Centre invites you to look up, power up and get charged up this Family Day weekend. With special programming, live demonstrations, and unique hands-on experiences for the whole family, there’s so much to delight inquisitive minds – you won’t want to miss out!

Regular favourites like the Energy Show, paper-making demonstrations, planetarium, and the hair-raising Van de Graff generator will be on hand, as well as some newer additions.At the Tech Art Fair, you can take in immersive 3D experiences, cute code-able robots, interplanetary music and more when 20 juried artists, designers and entrepreneurs showcase their original tech-inspired artwork. You can create some art of your own, or purchase from the artists. Science on Two Wheels gives visitors between 18 months and five years old the chance to learn new skills, practice balancing, and build body awareness in the Strider Rider area. Find out more about the delicate balance of physics, physical coordination, and practice involved in a fun ride.
