Digital Music Creation for Youth

Make digital music inspired by the Museum! Instructor Chris Ak takes the lead in this workshop designed especially for youth ages 14–16. Enjoy an introduction to such topics as podcast and soundscape creation. Then, test out tech while you arrange your own musical masterpieces!

Topics covered during this musical adventure include audio recording and engineering (podcast creation, creating soundscapes, building & arranging songs/sounds, and recording music and vocals), as well as audio production (building instrumentals/producing music, basic song structure and theory, rhythm and beats, and the art of sampling).
