Join Artscape Gibraltar Point in this intriguing approach to mural painting. Their inaugural Winter Island 2018 public workshop & event is hosted by Artist-In-Residence, Jeff Nachtigall. For this one-day-only project, Nachtigall has adapted his Mobile Painting Device to turn a set of specially modified bikes and trikes into ride-able paintbrushes!

Participants will have the chance to hop on a bike, make their mark, and contribute to the creation of a large-scale mural celebrating the unique bicycle culture of the Toronto Island Community. This mural will be displayed as part of the 2018 Winter Island Exhibition to be held at Artscape Youngplace May 27 – June 9, 2018.

There will be three painting sessions and workshops:

12:00 Noon (Ferry Departs City at 11:00AM, arrives at Ward’s Island at 11:30AM)*
