Children’s Garden School (CGS)

Children’s Garden School (CGS) is a private school for children in preschool to grade 3 that provides a balanced approach to their education. Along with the core curriculum, students study French, music, physical education, visual arts and mindfulness. There are also many opportunities for them to discover and develop their interests and talents, including monthly school-wide assemblies that are hosted by students, a fully produced musical, skating and ski days, student government elections, an annual science fair and public speaking contest and cross country and track and field championships. They also offer afterschool programs such as extended French, robotics and art.

They have small classes with low student to teacher ratios. In preschool, it is 8:1; in kindergarten (both JK and SK), it is 12:1; and in grades 1 to 3, it is 15:1.
