Secondhand Sunday

Secondhand Sunday is a Toronto-wide event. Simply leave any unwanted, reusable items on your property next to the sidewalk or curb for your neighbours to take for free. Then, get in on the action: “shop” your neighbourhood for free items. That thing your neighbour no longer wants could be exactly what you need.

After 5 pm, please take back remaining items or donate to a charity.

COVID-19 Safety

Practice social distancing, stay home if you are sick, wash hands with soap and warm water, wash and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces, avoid touching your face and wear a mask.

Please review Toronto Public Health guidelines for donating, which include:

• isolate fabrics (including clothing) for a minimum of two days before donating or wash and dry on high heat settings
• clean and disinfect nonporous items (plastic, porcelain, etc.)
• isolate anything that cannot be cleaned/disinfected for 7 days
• do not donate if you are sick
