About Toronto Kiwanis Boys & Girls Clubs
Since 1921, the Toronto Kiwanis Boys & Girls Clubs has been dedicated to working with and enhancing the lives of children, youth, and their families in order to provide them with the building blocks for creating healthy, civically engaged young people.
The Club serves more than 1,300 young people annually and more than 525 young people on a daily basis. Each Club site offers innovative programs that address and meet the changing needs of the communities it serves. The Club instills strong core values that teach the importance of mutual respect, teamwork, and being socially responsible through accessible and affordable after-school and school-break camps (PA day camps, March break camps, winter break camps) for children and youth.
Programs and activities are centred on:
- literacy and learning
- cooking and nutrition
- physical activity
- creative arts
- personal development
Toronto Kiwanis Boys & Girls Clubs operates four program sites serving families living in Toronto’s inner city, in Regent Park (two locations), Trinity-Bellwoods/Toronto West, and East Chinatown/Toronto East.
