Join award-winning children’s author and illustrator, Barbara Reid, for the opening of an exhibition featuring original artwork from her latest book, Picture the Sky. Fallen in love with the artwork? The art sale commences at 1pm and will be followed by a story time reading and book signing at 2pm.
About the Author
Barbara Reid has written and illustrated more than twenty-five picture books that have been published in over a dozen countries. Her signature plasticine relief illustrations have won numerous awards, including the Governor General’s Award for Illustration, the Amelia Frances Howard Gibbon Award, and the IBBY International Honour List. In January 2012 Barbara was appointed to the Order of Ontario.
