Bring along your budding firefighter to this year’s Fire Prevention Week campaign. This year’s slogan is, “Look. Listen. Learn. Be aware. Fire can happen anywhere.”
Some of this year’s Fire Prevention Week activities include:
• Live burn, auto extrication, Heavy Urban Search & Rescue demos.
• Take pictures at the firefighter cut-out
• TSSA carbon monoxide safety house & virtual reality booth
• Learn about natural gas at the Enbridge “Smellfie” booth
• Face painting, crafts, puppet shows
• Cooking demo with Chef Thomas Swolfs & chili lunch courtesy of President’s Choice
• BBQ courtesy of Enbridge with hotdogs & beverages courtesy of Loblaw’s
