Family Sunday: Fossil Imprints

Event Details

Part of the Community Arts Space: Recent Histories

The Gardiner Museum’s exhibit Reclaiming Artifacts invites visitors of all ages to explore the “discovery” of artifacts found during the construction of a condo in the year 2050. Reclaiming Artifacts is led by youth artists Ayesha Barazkai, Siddiqa Barakzai, Akashiaa Beckford-Stone, Amina Malik, Kianna L.Morgan, and Sutanya Samuels.

Inspired by the interactive exhibition’s “discovery” of these artifacts, this family workshop gives visitors of all ages the chance to become future-forward archaeologists and create fossil imprints from the past and present.

Admission is free for visitors 18 and under every day! Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and each accompanying adult must purchase a general admission ticket. Children cannot be left unattended at any time.
