MamaDances: Parent Child Dance Workshop

Event Details

Join us in Union Station’s West Wing for MamaDances, a free dance workshop with Jessica Runge which invites parents to move with their toddlers and preschool children (ages 18 months–3.5 years) through movement games, action songs, circle dances, creative investigations, and improvisation to instrumental, traditional and world music.

Founded in 2006, MamaDances aims to enhance parent-child bonding and forge social connections through an explorational dance experience.

Secure your spot by registering online. If families would like to attend as a unit, up to two (2) adults are welcome to participate with their child.

This workshop is presented by Union Dance in collaboration with Fall for Dance North, as part of Open Studio, a dance studio without walls. This partnership presents unique programming, specifically curated for Union Station, to bring you closer to where Toronto is going on the arts and cultural scene.
