Clay & Paper Theatre: The Echoes

Event Details

This event finished on 17 August 2019

Clay and Paper Theatre presents a multi-park tour this summer of “The Echoes.” Employing a variety of puppet characters, masks, vibrant design, original music, & signature Clay & Paper Theatre satire, The Echoes is an absurdist puppet tale about gentrification & modern urban living that imagines the extinct passenger pigeons returning to the shores of Lake Ontario, moving into our neighbourhoods & pushing Torontonians out of their homes. Talking condos, a giant spirit pigeon, the mythical Chomper and pigeonification take audiences on a fabulist journey, begging the question: how do we make room for everyone without pushing each other out?
