The 5th Annual Chessfest, organized by Annex Chess Club and Chess Institute of Canada, is happening June 9-10, 2018 at the Harbourfront Centre. Admission is free, and there will be tons of free activities, as well as registered chess tournaments. Free dress-up for kids, chess lessons, open play tables, a giant chess board and more.
Does your child play chess? You can register them in the Harbourfront Chessfest Children’s Championship 2018, happening June 9. There is a $10 fee, and prizes will be awarded in categories for grades 1-6.
